Host a Lemonade Stand: My kids are quite the entrepreneurs and love making lemonade and cookies for our neighborhood friends to stop by.

Midnight Sun Scavenger Hunt: Looking for a unique way to explore Franklin with the family? Discover history throughout downtown Franklin with a fun, family-friendly horse scavenger hunt! As you solve a set of clues to find each horse statue, you will find yourself standing in a spot of historical significance in shaping the history of both Franklin and the United States. Stop by the Visitor Center in downtown Franklin to pick up your Midnight Sun brochure (or download the brochure on their website) to follow the clues and complete the hunt.
Mural Scavenger Hunt: Nashville is full of beautiful murals! Check out my mural guide with murals broken down by neighborhoods and with addresses. Grab your selfie stick and get ready to take some fun photos!
Creek Play: Summers are better in the water! Middle Tennessee is so fortunate to have lots of creeks to stomp around in! Our family loves catching crawdads, skipping rocks and beating the heat in local creeks. A few favorites are Garrison Creek, The Harpeth entrance across from Carnton in Franklin, The Harpeth entrance at Pinkerton Park.
