“Meet me at the Hermitage” The Hermitage Hotel has been a Nashville staple since 1910 and this historic hotel has welcomed guests like Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline and many Presidents (In fact it’s rumored there’s an underground tunnel connected the hotel to the Tennessee Capitol Building.) LC and I had the best Mommy/Daughter weekend at the Hermitage and we felt like royalty!
From the moment we walked into the front doors, we were greeted with beauty and hospitality at every corner! The architecture of the building is just stunning!
We felt as if we’d been whisked away to a far away town but were thankful to only be right down the road from home.
Our suite had everything we needed from comfortable accommodations, a mini kitchen and the dreamiest view.
We loved being able to peek out of our window to see the Tennessee Capitol! So many important moments in history have happened at the hotel, including being an integral part of the Women’s Suffrage Movement.
I treasure one on one time with both of my children. This girl’s weekend was just what we needed and we enjoyed doing lots of our favorite things!
We enjoyed so many tasty treats like this charcuterie board and breakfast in bed!
We took the bubbliest bubble bath! The Hermitage uses Molton Brown bath products so we felt like we had a spa experience right inside of our room!
During our first night, we dressed up and headed downstairs to The Capitol Grille where we sipped fancy drinks, talked about school, summer and where she shared songs she’s been making up!
After dinner, we were excited to get back into our pajamas and have a movie night!
The hotel had amazing truffle popcorn and of course, LC loved the Reese’s Pieces combo! We watched Raya and The Last Dragon (well half of it until we fell asleep!)
The Hermitage is located conveniently in downtown, within walking distance to TPAC.
Hands down, one of the most unique buildings in all of Nashville!
After a leisurely morning, we were so excited to attend the Talk of the Town High Tea (Bridgerton-inspired tea).
Every detail was so gorgeous!
I hope that she will always come to tea with me!
Our girlfriends, Kelly and Savannah joined us! The girls were so adorable trying out the tea sandwiches, scones and tasting the tea!
I even found a new tea that I love-Linden tea, a floral and light tea!
Of course, we were all pretty excited about the dessert selections.
It was such a wonderful weekend full of rest, relaxation and quality time with my best girl!
The Hermitage is such a special place! We are definitely going to make this an annual event! We also highly suggest their Christmas tea! While The Hermitage is known for hosting special events like weddings, receptions, honeymoons and more; it’s also so fun to book a staycation and make your own reason to go!
