With the cool temperatures this weekend, it really feels like Fall is finally arriving! I don’t think they are sticking around, though. :) In any case, the Halloween celebrations are coming up and we have a list of awesome events to check out. Plus, kids love to wear their costumes more than once, right?
Ghouls at Grassmere– Kids can dress up and trick or treat around the zoo. There will also be haunted hayrides, a Monster Mash, and animal shows. October 17-19 & 23-26, from 5-9.
Spooky Science Day– Adventure Science Center hosts a day of “spine-tingling” activities. Wear your costume and enter to win prizes! October 25, from 10-3.
Pumpkinfest– Franklin hosts an all-day event celebrating Fall. There will be events and fun for everyone! October 25, from 10-8.
Hauntings at The Hermitage– A fun night for all ages. There are two sessions- one for families with younger children and the other for families with 13+ kids. Activities include: haunted hayrides, trick or treating, games, poison making, pumpkin decorating, ghost tours, and so much more. October 25, from 4-7.
Halloween at the Library (Main Branch)- Kids can come in costume and trick or treat before or after story time. October 28, from 9:30-12:30.
Goblins in the Garden– Show off your awesome costume and trick or treat at Cheekwood. October 28, from 10-12.
