We’re back and better than ever!
Thank you so much for being patient and sticking with me through this transition. I’m sure there will still be more kinks to work out.
In the meantime, I wanted to chat with you about who I am and what this redesign is all about. A lot of you are new around here and may not know the whole story.
First of all, let me introduce myself- I’m Lindsey, mom of two. I grew up in South Florida and just moved to Nashville while I was pregnant with my first. A new city was overwhelming to me. Nashville is awesome, but as a new mother, it’s extra hard to step out of your comfort zone and try something new. I looked online for fun things, and sure, you can find lists upon lists, but no real “tips and tricks”.
Am I the only mom that worries about what to pack in the diaper bag for certain outings or if that restaurant is kid-friendly? Do they have highchairs? Changing tables? Should I use my stroller or carrier? You get the idea…
So, I kind of just went about my life. Then, right after I had my second child, I was inspired to finally do something about it. And here we are today!
You may have visited when we were Nashville Mom Blog. The reason for the change? Well, there were a few. Mainly because I feel that The Nashville Mom is better. ;) Just keep in mind, it will take some time to get all the old links and posts changed. So, if you see “Nashville Mom Blog” on something, that’s us!
The Nashville Mom is here to be a resource for moms (and dads) in Nashville. Where to shop, eat, go, things to do and see in Nashville. Not just that, but the site is here to provide you with the tips on things that may have your mommy-mind spinning. (e.g. I’m always scouting out the highchair and changing table situation for you.)
So, WELCOME! I’m so glad you’re here. We have so many amazing things coming up in the next few weeks. Get ready!
